The debate team is one of the most popular teams to be on in high school. Sometimes there are not that many topics that teams have to choose from, but the thrill of arguing either for or against something under a controlled setting is enough to make anyone want to sign up for the team. Some of the more intense debate topics for high school students include education, the role politics has in everyday life, and health care issues facing the world today. Any good debate will have people who are for or against the topic chosen, but the fun in arguing is that everyone has their own opinion and you are required to share that opinion.
